When we arrive in Austria Mrs Segura we will leave a message on the hotline. She will also do this to notify parents of any other important news including our predicted arrival time back at Notley. Please phone the Trips Hotline on 01376 556378
It is possible to get sun burnt even though the sun may not be shining. The reflection from the snow is just as dangerous. You should also have lip cream to protect your lips from drying.
If you take any medication regularly you should let Mrs Segura know. You must also hand in your medication before you get onto the coach.
Austria uses Euros as the main currency. We advise the pupils to bring approximately £80 spending money in Euros, with a small amount of Sterling if they wish to purchase items on the ferry. Their Euros should be given to a Mr Rowe in the morning of departure. There will be a ‘bank’ every evening from which the pupils can withdraw money .
All students travelling on the ski trip this year will require a new E111 cards obtainable from the Post Office. Below is a checklist for you to ensure you pack the correct items:

Thin fleecy layer
Thermal bottoms
3 pairs ski socks (put 1 pair in your hand luggage)
Goggles
Thick ski gloves

Suntan lotion and lip salve
Hat
Small pillow for the journey
Small rucksack to carry packed lunch
Clothing for evenings e.g. jeans and tops

Any medication currently being taken should be placed in a named bag stating when it is to be taken and given into Mrs Readhead when getting on the coach
All luggage should be packed in a medium sized suitcase/holdall.
Can I remind you that no pupils should be bringing valuables on the trip and we insist they leave mobile phones at home.
