Profile: I have been skiing since the age of 26 (skiing now 26 years!!) and became a dry slope instructor a few years later when my daughter started skiing at the age of 4.
I took the BASI foundation course in 2002 and my full Alpine qualification in November 2003. Currently a level 2 Snow instructor, with the addition of my level 3 teaching and off Piste mountain safety.
I work full time as a Driving instructor and part time at my local dry slope where I teach the public and coach the race team. I am also involved in the training of new instructors.
I have been working with Notley since February 2003 as a guide and seen many of the students go from beginners right through to instructors themselves. (Ashley Jones). I have made some great friends at Notley over the years with Mrs Nikki Segura being a witness at our wedding in Austria in 2008.
Best moments:
- Getting married in Wagrain (we may well stop for lunch in the Hotel)
- Oh and going fast!
Worst moment:
- Breaking a rib on my 2nd ski holiday (pain)
