I started skiing at the age of 4, originally started in kids club on a Saturday morning then when I was 7 started slalom racing, I rose up the rankings and was selected for the England dry slope squad and was ranked 18th in the country.
When I turned 16 I qualified as a club instructor, teaching kids club, ironically on a Saturday and Sunday morning. I also started working as a junior coach for my local race club. In 2007 I completed my BASI level 1and recently completed my alpine race coach level 2.
I work full time as a Health care assistant in a specialised dementia home and also work part time a Special Constable for Dorset Police (yes I am very special)There is no hiding that in my first year guiding I somehow managed to reverse myself into a tree at speed and popped my shoulder out, bruised my ribs and split my ear lobe, which was taped back together.....thanks Jen....remember your E111 cards guys!!!
Best moments:
Watching my dad get married in our favourite resort in Wagrain, we will stop for a drink or two....
Worst moment:
Argument with a certain tree..... I will show you all my tree!
